3D IS A QUESTION OF FINISHING.
Garage Magazine reaches demanding and international customers … and is regularly produced in high print runs at Druckhaus Sportflieger. New printing technology solutions are always required for the realization of the complex covers. In the case of “Garage Magazine No. 18“, the cover was intended to look a foreign object. For the corresponding 3D effect we used a golden relief embossing of the logo, an UV spot relief varnish of the photo as well as the 3D blind embossing of the adhesive tape motif in a multi-stage process. The magazine is printed in FM raster. The cover is made of Metapaper Embossed Micro 300 g/m2, the inner part of Lumisilk 135 g/m2 and Amber Graphic 120 g/m2 paper.
Printing technology makes a great motif even bigger.
