Unusual appearance: strong cardboard with white screen printing.
Middle Plane Magazine
EXCITING PLAY WITH FORM AND CONTENT.
This 5-piece magazine removes the conventional limits of form and content: A screen printed envelope made of strong cardboard provides the frame for four individual booklets in saddle stitching. These are printed in CMYK over 80 raster on 90 gram art paper. Pages and inserts are partially shortened in height and width. The surrounding unstitched journal is printed in one color in deep black on recycled paper.
DESIGNING A MAGAZINE FROM THE DISPATCH POINT OF VIEW IS UP TO DATE. THE CLOSE COOPERATION BETWEEN PRINTING, BOOKBINDING AND SALES MAKES DRUCKHAUS SPORTFLIEGER THE PERFECT PARTNER.
Conscious play with conventions of magazine and journal.
